Although large in area, these slot drains offer minimal visual 'noise,' a huge plus when working with expensive finishes, such as the all glass-tile surfaces used in this project's pool and spa. Different Types of One-Piece pool deck drains (different sizes). Although the names shown below are essentially the same thing, on this website, the 'deck drain' has a flat top; the 'Channel Drain' has ridges and is slightly wider than the Deck-O-Drain. To Repair the One-Piece Drains: Note: There is no guarantee that this will work because your existing drain is broken. The alternative is a concrete pool deck renovation. This is a last step before that alternative.
