What do you need to book a test?
1. A valid ID. When you register, you’ll need to upload a scan of your passport. It must be valid at the time of booking and on the test day. If you're under 18 your parents will also need to complete the Parent consent for candidates under 18 form. IELTS is not recommended for anyone under 16.
IELTS test date confirmation You will receive a confirmation email approximately 5-10 days before the test date giving you the start time of your test and the venue address. Your Speaking test may be scheduled on the same day as the other sections, or on a different day within a 7-day window before or after your main test day. FEES FOR ISSUING ADDITIONAL TEST REPORT FORM (TRF)
Request submitted within 30 days after the first TRF issue date AND for the first five additional TRF(s):
- To be sent by ordinary post or electronic transfer – Free
- To be sent by EMS registered post upon your request – 1,600 yen per copy
Request submitted on the 31st day onwards after the first TRF issue date OR for the sixth or more TRF(s):
- To be sent by ordinary post or electronic transfer – 1,100 yen per copy
- To be sent by EMS registered post upon your request – 2,700 yen per copy
* Unless you specify that you would like to send TRF(s) by EMS, they will be sent by ordinary post or electronic transfer. Please be aware that in that case, you will not be able to track the delivery status.
* IELTS scores have a two-year validity period. If your request comes at short notice before the score expires, we regret that we may not be able to process it.

FEES FOR ENQUIRY ON RESULTS (EOR)
Candidates can apply for an EOR if they feel the test result is wrong. The request must be made within 6 weeks of the test date. Candidates can choose to have one or more parts of their test re-marked. Fees for EOR are as below. A full refund will be made if your result is changed to a higher band score. Your result will normally be available in about 3 weeks, depending on several factors, including the number of sections requested for remarking. If you have not received a response after 28 days, please contact your test centre.
